Asian Burmese Restriction Colours is defined by adding the letter ‘q’ as you will see above.
The colour restriction modifies the Full Expression colour so that black becomes brown etc.
Full Expression colour is much darker than Burmese Colour Restriction.

Silver is indicated by adding ‘s’ to the appropriate number—for example 72 43sq would be a Brown
Shaded Silver Burmilla (Burmese Colour Restriction).
All Self and Tortie colours showing the Burmese Colour Restriction are registered as Varients
because they are identical in appearance to Burmese cats.
This is shown by adding ‘v’ to the Asian breed number 72.
For example 72av would be a Asian Blue Varient (Burmese type and colour).

Note that varients are always shorthaired Asians as Tiffanies are permissible in all colours.
