A warm welcome to
The Fandango Cats
Website.
My name is Claire Lewis and I am a GCCF qualified judge, breeder and
exhibiter and have been breeding cats since 1991. I began with Burmese
cats as I fell in love with their elegance and outgoing personalities.
Burmese cats are very well known and are justifiably known as ‘The
Connoisseurs’ Cat ’. Once you have had a Burmese in your life you will
never want to be without one!
I would suggest using the links below to the two main UK Burmese cat clubs
if you require further information about the wonderful Burmese!

After a few years I, along with fellow Burmese breeders, also became
involved in developing the new breed of Asians. Asians are known as the
‘Burmese cousins’ as they share the same overall body type and personality
but come in many, many more colours and patterns! In particular I have
specialized in developing silver Tiffanies who are the semi long haired
version of the Asians with their beautiful, shimmering, silky coats but
who thankfully needing the minimum of grooming!
Asian cats are still quite rare and only known to a privileged few!
Please use the link below to the very friendly cat club called the ‘Asian
Cat Association’, of which I am privileged to be a committee member, to
gain further information about this fascinating breed.

I only have a few Burmese and Asian litters each year from my Queens, but
I am happy to take enquiries at any time from prospective owners. Please
contact me via email in the first instance if you would be interested at

If I cannot help you, then I may be able to pass you onto my friends and
fellow breeders who might have kittens.
Once my kittens are old enough, then I welcome visitors. We are only two
hours from London on the M4. It is usually easy for people to find us-I do
send detailed directions via e-mail- beforehand! Visits are, of course,
strictly by appointment only.
We live in the small pretty village of Caerleon in South Wales, which is
just 25 minutes from Bristol across the New Severn Bridge.
In the far past Caerleon was the main Roman outpost for all of Roman Wales
and today still has many interesting places to visit if coming up for the
day such as the Roman Amphitheatre, Roman baths and Museum. Please see the
local Caerleon website for more details at
www.caerleon.net . Included in my travel details, if visiting, will
also be information on the many pubs in the locality that can provide a
delicious lunch -and for those coming further a field there are some
delightful B & B’s to stay in-we are well worth a visit!
